Danyell Davis
Litigation Manager
Danyell Davis (she/they) is a Gulf Coast native who moved to New Orleans in 2008 to attend Loyola University and has been as rooted as the oak trees in the city ever since. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med/Psychology and a minor in Gender Studies. While attending Loyola, they worked for the Jesuit Social Research Institute analyzing race, poverty, and migration in the Gulf South. After graduating, she attended Charity School of Nursing while working as a preschool teacher and at various bakeries in New Orleans. Danyell’s fiercely held belief in a more just and kinder world steered them into a new career path and their current position as Litigation Manager at Rutherford Law.
When not working, you can find Danyell creating delicious meals to share with friends, walking around Bayou St. John, curating thematic playlists, celebrating queer joy, and almost certainly getting dressed up just to grab an iced coffee.
